About Me

I have been honing my skills as a woodworker throughout the better part of my life. My first experience in woodworking came from a shop class in junior high school. Through the years, my curiosity always led me to watch other craftsmen and pick up what we call “tricks of the trade.”

As I grew older and tackled odd jobs on my own, I eventually developed a custom woodworking shop with my brother in 2004. We owned and operated this business for approximately 12 years until I moved from western Pennsylvania to eastern Tennessee. Since the move, I had only been dabbling with various home remodeling projects until I got the bug and passion for woodwork again and regained my sense of craftsmanship.

What really sparked my love was working with live edge wood slabs and reclaimed wood to create unique, functional, and eye-catching furniture and ornamental pieces. From there, I established The Wood Dabbler, which serves customers in and

around Knoxville, Tennessee.
